Renovation of a water / sewer project in Lexington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Question Cuttoff Date & Time 11/22/2024 04:00:00 PM (ET) If the bid is $50,000 or greater, bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government in an amount not less than Five Percent (5%) of the base bid. Bid bond shall be executed by a Surety Company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and countersigned by a licensed Kentucky Resident Agent, representing the Surety Company. Bid Bonds are not required for bids under $50,000. A cashier’s check or irrevocable letter of credit is an acceptable form of bid security. The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government may be served. Bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" from the OWNER and to fully complete the Project within the time as specified in the Contract. Bidder must agree also to pay $250.00 per day thereafter deadline for substantial and final completion.
