Site work for a water / sewer project in Westford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
No bids were received. Please follow project for future updates. Replacement of two dehumidifiers at the Forge Village Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Deadline for Questions: December 10, 2024 at 4:00 PM SCOPE OF SERVICES a. Under this specification, the Contractor shall furnish all necessary equipment, labor, and materials to replace 2 (two) dehumidifiers located at 60 Forge Village Road, Westford, MA. replacement shall include: 1. Furnish and install (2) new DCA2500T replacement dehumidification units, New units to match performance specifications of the existing units; 2. Disconnect power, controls, and condensate piping from existing dehumidification units, rig to ground. Rig new units into position and secure. Reconnect power and control wiring, Re-pipe condensate drain line. 3. Furnish and install the new humidistats. Start up new equipment and test operation. 4. Reclaim refrigerant from existing units per EPA standards and dispose of equipment off site. 5. All work to be performed during normal business hours; 6. Provide all applicable manufacturer information, specifications, and operations and maintenance manuals for the new equipment. 7. Provide manufacturer's warranties on compressor, evaporator coil, parts, and controls. b. All additional information which the Contractor may require may be secured by means of a site visit to the Forge Village WTP. Arrangements for such a visit may be made by contacting Mark Warren, Water Superintendent, Westford Water Department (978) 399-2457 or at mwarren@westfordma.gov. c. The Contractor shall be appropriately experienced and licensed for installation of commercial dehumidifiers.
