*As of August 2025, this project has been placed on hold during the design stage, there is currently no timeline for when the design stage will move forward.* Estimated Project Cost $5,000,000 Submit all questions regarding this RFQ in writing to OFCC at Procurement@ofcc.ohio.gov with the project number included in the subject line (no phone calls please) The State intends to select an Architect/Engineering (A/E) team to provide design and construction administration services for renovations at the Ross Correctional Institution (RCI). The scope will include but not be limited to: 1. Roof replacement at various buildings throughout the institution. Includes investigation, assessment, design, replacement of roof on various buildings throughout the institution. May include numerous different roofing systems and styles. Scope may include demolition, carpentry, waterproofing, insulation, ancillary work required by further investigation and site work 2. Fence Repairs/Upgrades/Replacements. Upgrade secure perimeter fence. Current condition indicates fence ties and posts exhibiting excessive wear. Scope may include demolition, earthwork, site restoration, utility work, fencing, security work, technology, ancillary work deemed important due to perimeter security. In addition to these areas and disciplines, other work should be anticipated as investigation, assessment and the POR is completed. Work could include security perimeter fence, demolition, excavation, concrete, masonry, finishes, doors and hardware, windows, security, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection sprinkler, electrical, detention equipment and systems as needed and as may be encountered in design and construction of the scope categories listed above. The development of the POR will include a comprehensive survey/field investigation of the existing site and surrounding areas to evaluate the existing conditions in relation to the project scope described above, and in relation to the project budget. The project scope will then be evaluated, prioritized, and defined/redefined to align with available project funds.
