Renovation of a fire / police facility in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

Estimated Project Cost $4,700,000 Renovation of campus buildings to include: carpet and paint in designated area to match recently completed renovations elsewhere on campus. HVAC upgrades to include: boiler replacement, controls and other components. The State Fire Marshal’s office (SFM) requests flooring updates in the office spaces within the main building. Until the recent installation of flooring in common areas, the last update for the main SFM building was in the mid 2000’s. Carpet and wood laminate flooring was placed in the main entrance, the hallways of the main building, and in the “B” building. The carpeting in the rest of the building was not completed. This work needs to be completed to match the newly installed flooring. If installation of carpeting in the office areas is not completed soon, it is highly likely that the carpet will not match the areas already installed. HVAC improvements - The areas we request that need addressed are the 1st and 2nd dorm fan coil units, dehumidifying and exhaust air issues in the dorms, a few main building bureaus (Legal, ITG, and FEIB), and upgrading/replacing the controllers and domestic hot water boilers Submit all questions regarding this RFQ in writing to Procurement at procurement@ofcc.ohio.gov with the project number included in the subject line (no phone calls please)
