Completion- 368 consecutive days Question Deadline 09/05/2025 Online portal. The A/E shall respond to RFIs received more than 7 days before the bid opening. A. The DSFM Renovations & Improvements project includes a 45,200 SF interior renovation of the first and second floors of a 254,280 SF type 2B office building and Fire Marshal training facility. Scope of work includes new flooring, base, interior paint, new PTAC HVAC units in all dorm rooms, upgraded HVAC controls campus-wide, and any associated electrical or plumbing work. B. Scope of demolition and removal work is shown on drawings and specified in Section 02 41 00. C. Scope of alterations and new construction work is shown on drawings. D. Services (Including but not limited to): Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. E. Owner is responsible for associate personal items (picture frames, trinket, plants, etc.) to be removed prior to moving activity commencing and relocated by associates. F. Contractor is responsible for providing moving crates for associate belongings/workstation contents/files before work begins. Associates will be working from another location on site or from home during the duration of construction in each bureau. G. Contractor is responsible for lifting, moving, or disassembling furniture as required for flooring or paint work. H. Contractor will be responsible for protecting flooring, walls, furniture, equipment, etc. during the renovation. Contractor will be responsible for any damage that is caused due to lifting, moving, or disassembling furniture and/or equipment. I. Contractor to maintain power and low voltage connections. If disconnection is required, Contractor to work with Owner's IT team to coordinate as necessary. F. Contractor is required to remove and deliver the following to Owner prior to start of work: 1. Items as identified in the Demolition plans. G. Contractor is required to remove and store the following prior to start of work, for later reinstallation by Contractor: 1. Items as identified in the Demolition plans as salvaged. 2. Additional items as identified during pre-demolition walk-through. 3. Wall hung items such as shelving, artwork, signage, etc. that are required to be removed prior to patching and painting of walls. Wall hung items to be rehung upon completion of work.
