Site work for a water / sewer project in Eureka, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of Floodwalls The Project includes the following Work: 1. The development of the Old Towne Flood Mitigation System including but not limited to, the final grading of an earthen floodwall along Flat Creek from west of Bald Hill Road to Highway 109, grading of a new detention basin, construction of a new storm water pump station with 36 inch discharge pipes, a 60 inch gravity outfall, additional storm water conveyance piping, and all electrical. 2. Elevating the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) lagoon berm to two (2) feet above the flood elevations outlined in the October, 2024 preliminary FEMA flood maps that were generated as part of a standard regional flood risk reevaluation. The berm upgrades are to be done in such a manner as to not disturb the operation of Missouri American Water's (MAWC) waste water treatment facility. Nondiscrimination in Employment: Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
