Site work and new construction of a civil project in Brundidge, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of the replacement of approximately 760 feet of8" gravity sewer and improvements to three wastewater pumping stations which are part of the sewage collection system plus various improvements at the Wastewater Treatment Facility including a new control/lab building, new return sludge pumping station, upgrade to the existing utility pumping station and yard piping improvements Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and/or unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Poly, Inc. 1935 Headland Avenue ,Dothan, AL 36303, 334-793- 4700, Max Mobley, mmobley@poly-inc.com. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Friday from 8:00 am to 11:30pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available. Bidding Documents also maybe examined at the Brundidge City Hall, 200 N. Main St., Brundidge, AL 36010, on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00p.m., local time. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website .Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Bidders who return full sets of the Bidding Documents in good condition within 10 days after receipt of Bids will receive a full refund minus shipping charges. Non-Bidders, and Bidders who obtain more than one set of the Bidding Documents, will receive a refund less the cost of printing, reproduction, handling, and distribution for documents returned in good condition within the time limit indicated above. No Bidding Documents will be issued within 72 hours of the scheduled date and time of the Bid Opening. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence of license before bidding or Bid will not be received or considered by the Owner. The Bidder shall show evidence by including its current license number during registration and clearly displaying on the out side of the sealed envelope in which the Bid is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interest of the Owner will there by be promoted. The Owner further reserves the right to negotiate price and time with the low bidder. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
