Installation of approximately 8,100 LF of various diameter sanitary force main along with appurtenances. The project consists of furnishing labor, equipment, and materialsfor the construction of a wastewater Force Main (as described in the Drawings and Specifications). The work generally includes, but is not limited to, installation of 4", 6", 10" and 12" HDPE force main piping (owner provided), including fittings, valves and other appurtenances; ductile iron force main installation (aerial crossing); and horizontal directional drill installation. The project includes road and driveway crossings, and related restoration. The Contractor shall obtain and pay for all necessary local building permits. The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work in the manner best calculated to promote rapid construction consistent with safety of life and property and to the satisfaction of the Engineer and in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall clean up the Work and maintain it during and after construction, until accepted, and shall do all Work and pay all costs incidental thereto. He shall repair or restore all structures and property that may be damaged or disturbed during performance of the Work. 2. The cost of incidental work described in these Project Requirements for which there are no specific Contract Items shall be considered as part of the general cost of doing the Work and shall be included in the prices for the various Contract Items. No additional payment will be made therefore. 3. The Contractor shall provide and maintain such modern, tools, and equipment as may be necessary, in the opinion of the Engineer, to perform in a satisfactory and acceptable manner all the Work required by this Contract. Only equipment of established reputation and proven efficiency shall be used.
