Manitoba Hydro is issuing this Request to seek the submission of competitive Proposals for the construction of a capacity upgrade at Dauphin-Vermillion Station. The Work is to include, without limitation: Supply and installation of site improvements, foundations, cable trench and oil containment. Salvaging and installation of station steel, grounding grid, electrical apparatus, transformers, overhead high voltage buswork, underground conduit, cabling, building and yard panels and other various electrical components. Modifications of existing foundations. The scope of this project consists of supplying all that is required for the performance of the Work. This may consist of but not be limited to the supply of management personnel, labour, Equipment, Contractor's Plant, mobilization, demobilization, contractor facilities and services and some materials. With some exceptions, the Site will be energized for the duration of the Work as defined in this specification. Transmission line and Site outages required for construction, testing, commissioning or any other clearance requirement will be coordinated by the Purchaser. The Purchaser will provide all required drawings in pdf formant and shall procure all noted devices, apparatus and material as part of the permanent installation in accordance with the drawings except as otherwise specified. Additional devices, apparatus and/or material required for performance of the Work may be requested to be supplied by the Contractor in consultation with the Purchaser, through the Engineer.
