Provide and install multiple non-penetrating guardrail system(s) which provides roof workplace fall protection that are OSHA compliant. In addition, an OSHA compliant safety ladder is also required. Services shall include providing Site walkdowns and layout drawings. Purchasing material and installation, including all labor, transportation, materials, apparatus, fabrication, tools, equipment and permits necessary to construct and install. The purpose of the roof guardrail systems and safety ladder are to allow for safe access to roof equipment. The work is located on the Providence Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) campus, 830 Chalkstone Ave, Providence, RI 02908. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238160 (Roofing Contractors), and the small business size standard is $19 million. Requests for Information (RFI) of a technical nature must be provided in writing and shall be submitted by the prospective Contractor only by email to Andrew.Merical@va.gov.
