Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Langley, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project con- sists of the construction of new water, wastewater, stormwater, asphalt walkway and roadway improvements within the City of Langley. Included with this work will be the completion of wetland enhancements at a select city owned mitigation site to offset project impacts. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form(s). The City of Langley is an equal opportunity employer. All work performed on this project will be subject to prevailing state wage rates and RCW 39.04.320 which requires 15% of all labor hours to be performed by apprentices registered in a State Approved Apprenticeship Program. The supplemental project goal is to provide geotechnical recommendations for the design and construction of capital improvements specially on Al Anderson Avenue. Initial borings were advanced to a maximum depth of 11.5 feet below present ground (BPG) where a shallow groundwater table was observed. Improvements along Al Anderson Avenue will need to include excavating to depths of approximately 20 feet below the ground surface and several feet below the groundwater surface, therefore, additional borings were necessary that advanced deeper than the original. Question Deadline 01/14/2025 If the Bidder finds any discrepancy in, or omission from the specifications or plans, or if there is any doubt as to their meaning, the Bidder shall promptly notify the City of Langley.
