The project is expected to be awarded at council meeting on January 27, 2025.** The Project consists of constructing new sidewalks along 17th Street on the West side of the road including ADA ramps and approaches as identified by the plans. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Lewiston as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. All contractors and subcontractors performing work on the Project shall comply with Davis-Bacon wages applicable to the project and in effect at the time the bid is due. City of Lewiston reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received.
