Site work and renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Madison, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a clubhouse / community center.
**As of July 23, 2025 All bids on the project have expired, no action was taken by the town. No definite date for rebid. The project scope is the conversion of the existing Academy School into the Madison Community Center. The scope shall consist of Structural and selective demolition and abatement, new windows, doors, roof, masonry restoration, steel framing, new elevator, modifications to layout, new finishes and historic restoration. It will also include the provision of new fire protection, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems, sitework and a new septic system. All inquiries regarding the project should be submitted to John Koplas of Colliers Project Leaders at john.koplas@collierseng.com. Deadline for all questions is 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024 The Town of Madison reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, should this be deemed, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the Town to do so. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid, satisfactory to and payable to the order of the Town of Madison. The Contractor shall furnish Performance and Payment (Labor and Material) Bonds, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of all the Contractor's obligations under the Contract Documents. Bonds shall be in the forms prescribed by law or regulation and be shall acceptable to the Town. Commencement of Project April 7, 2025 Work Completion June 27, 2026
