Reference Number 0000368644 The project scope consists of removal of dead and dying trees in Polk County Parks. All trees to be removed are marked with a red X. Contractor must haul all cut material off site. This project consists of all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to hazard tree removals in Polk County parks by March 31st, 2025. The bid security must be in an amount set forth in the bidding documents and made payable to Polk County Conservation Board. Failure to execute a contract for the proposed work and file an acceptable Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a certificate of liability insurance within thirty days of the award of the contract will be just and sufficient cause for the rescinding of the award and the forfeiture of the bid security.
