Demolition and site work for a detention facility in Saint Augustine Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 12,000-square-foot detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.
**As of January 22,2025 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded by the end of February.** Project Estimated Budget $200,000.00. This project is intended to completely demolish/remove/blade grade the +/- 12,000 sq' two-story St. Johns County (SJC) Jail Annex Building located at 4025 Lewis Speedway, St. Augustine, FL 32084. This building was the SJC Jail at one time. The overall building construction is of correctional facility quality. To effectively demolish and remove the entire structure, leaving a grade blade finish with existing soils. St. Johns County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, waive minor informalities, or award the bid/proposal which best serves the interests of St. Johns County.
