West County EMS and Fire Protection District (Fire District) is seeking bids for Kitchen Renovation. The Fire District reserves the right to terminate the contract for any violation, by the successful bidder, of any term or condition of the contract by giving thirty (30) days written notice stating the reasons therefore and giving the party time to remedy any deficiencies. All bid prices submitted must be guaranteed for ninety (90) days. The Fire District reserves the right to accept and/or reject any and all bids. Furthermore, after review and consideration of the bids received, the Fire District will proceed with the best, qualified bid, which may not be the lowest bid submitted. Scope of Work: The project scope shall include all applicable drawings and permits required per St. Louis County and any other governmental agencies. Full replacement of kitchen cabinets and drawers with high quality melamine product to be selected by Fire District. Full replacement of kitchen appliances including oven/stove, built-in microwave, and dishwasher, with replacement appliances to be selected by Fire District. Replacement of kitchen countertops with stone product to be selected by Fire District. LED undercabinet lighting with control. All necessary applicable electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work shall be included in the bid and performed to the appropriate code by a licensed professional.
