The Contractor shall perform all required work and shall provide and furnish all labor, supervision, materials, necessary tools, expendable equipment, utility and transportation services and all else required to complete the annual paving contract in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions and Special Conditions; including any and all Addenda and according to Section 6.0. It is understood and agreed that quantities herein are estimates only for a twelve-month period. The City shall be under no obligation to purchase any specific or minimum quantity. Equipment and labor Rental - Included in this contract will be an equipment and labor rental list of hourly rates to be used by the City of Franklin on an as need basis. This would include, but not be limited to, cleaning ditches, pulling shoulders, excavating, or other projects as assigned. A contract shall be awarded for a period of approximately six (6) months ending on June 30, 2025 with an option to extend for up to two (2) additional years, one (1) year at a time, if agreed upon by both parties. Each contract shall have an option to extend the term of the existing contract to allow completion of any work undertaken, but not completed during the original term of the contract. The City shall notify the consultant in writing of its intent to renew sixty (60) days prior to the expiration of the original contract.
