Site work for a mixed-use development in Lake Country, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
Through this Request for Proposals ("RFP"), the District of Lake Country (the "District") invites Proposals from suitability qualified and experienced companies, interested in performing works to further develop and revitalize Swalwell Park, which is a key recreation hub of the District's park system, located at 10070 Bottom Wood Lake, Lake Country, BC. Question Deadline 12/04/2024 at 11:45 PM PT Any question or query a Respondent has related to this RFP process must be submitted to the District through the Bids & Tenders System by clicking on the Submit a Question button (provided in the Bids & Tenders System) for this RFP. Work Summary: the Work of this Contract will include, but is not limited to, the following: Site work including; vegetation removals, clearing & grubbing, rough-grading, and subgrade preparation. Installation of drainage and sub-drainage. Underground irrigation and potable water lines. Relocation of electrical lines, plus minor electrical infrastructure. Installation of park surfaces and amenities. Planting of trees, shrubs, sod, and area seeding. Coordination of the Work with contractors working on separate contracts (playground equipment, splash park equipment, and shade structures) in adjacent and cross-over areas.
