Through this Request for Proposals, the District of Lake Country invites Proposals from organizations that are experienced in the design, supply, and installation of playgrounds and splash parks for public recreation, for the supply of such services and work as part of the District's project to revitalize Swalwell Park, a key recreation hub of the District's park system located at 10070 Bottom Wood Lake, Lake Country, BC. The Design Services and Work for this project, that the District intends to award to the successful Respondent from this RFP, are comprised of two main elements as follows: 1) Playground, Safety Surface, and Shade Sails: Design, supply & installation of a new playground, including safety surface and shade sails District's Maximum Budget : $1,075,000 Playground installation works must start no earlier than August 5, 2025 All Work must achieve 'Total Completion' no later than October 17, 2025 2) Splash park: Design, supply, & installation of a new splash park, including repairs to existing splash park surface District's Maximum Budget : $250,000 Splash Park installation works must start no earlier than September 2, 2025 All Work must achieve 'Total Completion' no later than October 17, 2025 Documents can be obtained from https://lakecountry.bidsandtenders.ca/
