Clay County is requesting quotes from qualified contractors to provide housing rehabilitation services at the following location: 1850 Miller Street Orange Park, FL 32073 Below is the list of recommended repairs: Carpentry Replace panes in two (2) cracked bedroom windows on the south side of the home. Repair bypass shower doors. The doors appear to be missing guides/stops. Electrical Replace the electrical panel in the home with interior main panel for homeowner accessibility. Electrical circuits are insufficient for loads in kitchen and bath. Evaluate whole system as frequent faults are occurring. Add circuits as required. Replace smoke alarm to current code in three (3) bedrooms, and combo smoke alarm within ten (10) feet outside bedroom doors. All shall be communicating/linked ten (10) year battery minimum or new hard wired replacements. Add GFCI outlet protection as needed in the bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, garage, and exterior outlets. Exterior outlets shall have in-use bubble outlet covers. The current GFCI in the bathroom is not functioning. Substantial Completion shall be obtained within sixty (60) days from Notice to Proceed. Final Completion shall be obtained within ninety (90) days from Notice to Proceed. Question Deadline 12/11/2024 at 4:30 PM ET Question Response Deadline: December 13, 2024, 4:30pm The Contractor shall be assessed Liquidated Damages (LD) of $100.00 for each day past final completion date set by the contract. If the awarded Contractor fails to maintain acceptable product quality or to perform adequately in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications established in this Request for Quotes, the County reserves the right to cancel the contract upon thirty (30) days written notice to the Contractor.
