Remodeling of an educational facility in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
Modification of existing PME Infrastructure in NC A&T ERIC 183 to accommodate the new lab equipment layout. The following summarizes in general the scope of work for this project: a. Repair ERIC 183 entry door to laboratory. b. Relocate non-recirculating biosafety cabinet from ERIC 188 and remove associated exhaust valve for storage. c. Demolish existing water, waste, and vacuum connection to biosafety cabinets in ERIC 188, and relocate to adjusted recirculating biosafety cabinet location. d. Relocate lab equipment from other ERIC laboratories to ERIC 183 and ERIC 188. e. Provide industrial cold water, DI water, and drainage for ice maker, water sterilizer, and glassware washer. f. Replace sink faucets with automatic, touchless faucets. g. Modify electrical connections, including wiring and breakers, as required for relocated lab equipment. h. Provide new single-phase connections for equipment. i. Update electrical panel schedules with new equipment connections.
