Renovation of a library in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
SCOPE OF WORK Renovation of a portion of the ground floor of the Bluford Library and other work indicated in the Contract Document The contractor shall commence work to be performed under this contract on the date specified in the notice to proceed from the designer/owner and shall fully complete all work within one-hundred (100) consecutive calendar days. For each day in excess of the above number of days, the contractor shall pay the owner the amount of five-hundred dollars ($500) per consecutive calendar day as liquidated damages to cover the losses to be incurred by the owner should the contractor fail to complete the work within the time specified. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days. The Owner reserves the right to reject bids and waive informalities.
