As-needed Fence and Gate Installation, Repair and Rental - Citywide License Requirements A valid Class C13 - Fencing Contractor's License issued by the State of California. Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00% Liquidated Damages $100 Per Calendar Day Start/Delivery Date Date of Notice to Proceed Project Duration Thirty calendar days to complete each Work Task Order. One (1) year contract, with provisions for nine (9) one-year extensions. The Contractor will perform installation services to ensure that all fencing materials, gate hardware, and accessories are securely and properly placed. Repair services will address damage from incidents such as vandalism or vehicle impact, encompassing demolition and removal of old materials, replacement of fencing, posts, and concrete mow strips, connections to existing fences, straightening leaning posts, and paint matching. The Contractor will also provide temporary chain link fencing rental services, including labor for setup and teardown. B.All work must follow the City of Fresno's Standard Drawings/Specifications and State of California Department of Transportation Standard Plans/Specifications. Additionally, all goods supplied must meet the standards set forth by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). C.The Contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, equipment, materials and services to perform all obligations and functions under this Contract in accordance with the below specifications. The Contractor shall use its best efforts to coordinate its activities with and adjust its activities to the need sand requirements of the City of Fresno and the various users of these areas and to perform activities so as not to annoy, disturb, endanger, unreasonably interfere with or delay the operations or activities in these areas. The Contractor acknowledges that time is of the essence to complete the work as specified. Scope of Services A.The scope of work includes providing a comprehensive array of fencing and gate related goods and services. The Contractor will supply various fencing materials, such as chain link and wrought iron fencing, along with essential gate hardware like locks, latches, and hinges. Additionally, the Contractor will furnish needed gate accessories, including handles, stops, and safety signage.
