The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms to provide Automatic Gate and Roll-up Door Maintenance Services. Bids must address all services described in Exhibit A entitled, Scope of Work that is included in the Proposed Agreement Forms/Exhibits section of this IFB. Exhibit A contains a detailed description of the services and work to be performed, as a result of this IFB including those terms in the referenced exhibits. The CHP intends to make multiple agreement awards (one contracts per location) to the responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest bid for each location. This IFB is open to all eligible firms and/or individuals that meet the qualification requirements. Bidders are not required to submit a bid for all locations. In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770, 1773 and 1773.1 of the Labor Code, the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) has ascertained general prevailing wage rates in the county in which the work is to be performed. The rates of prevailing wage are determined by the Department of Industrial Relations, Labor Statistics and Research.
