The Berwick Electric Commission is pleased to announce the forthcoming release of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for rehabilitating the Factorydale Hydropower Plant in Aylesford, Nova Scotia. We invite qualified hydropower Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) expressing their interest in participating in this significant project. At this point, we are not asking for proposals or bids for the project. The primary objective of this project is to rehabilitate the Factorydale Hydropower Plant by replacing outdated and damaged equipment with modern, efficient, and streamlined systems. The scope includes providing a complete water-to-wire solution, incorporating all necessary components to ensure a fully operational hydroelectric facility.
