A. The work comprises the Maryville Housing Authority of Maryville, Missouri as follows 1. Interior Wood Doors Replacement - remove existing wood doors, install new wood doors. 2. Water Heater Replacement - remove existing water heaters, install new water heaters. 3. Administration Building Improvements - restrooms and hallway renovations. The improvements generally consist of apartment interior door replacements, water heater replacements, and Administration Building restroom/hallway renovation and miscellaneous associated work. Site Directions: Maryville Housing Authority, 320 West Davison Square, Maryville, MO 64468 Est. Completion Date: April 30, 2025 A Notice to Proceed is anticipated by January 2025. For bids exceeding $25,000.00, each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's or certified check, or a credit union certified share draft in a separate sealed envelope in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the proposal. If a bid bond is submitted, it must be on the form provided with the Contract Documents. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond on approved forms in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, or other assurance of completion as specified in the General Conditions, said bonds to be issued by a responsible surety approved by Maryville Housing Authority, and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all materials and labor and protect and save harmless Maryville Housing Authority from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operation of the Contractor. The successful bidder will honor all requirements of the current Davis-Bacon Federal Wage rates. Liquidated damages in the amount of $250.00 per calendar day will be assessed for each day that the work shall remain uncompleted after the end of the contract period, with due allowance for extensions of the contract period due to conditions beyond control of the Contractor.
