The City of Tamarac is hereby requesting Bids, from qualified Contractors, for the construction of the Pinehurst Circle Water Main Project. The project is located east of NW 94 th Avenue, between the north end of NW 91 st Avenue (within the Landings on Cypress Greens community), extending across the Colony West golf course into the south end of W. Pinehurst Circle (see Attachment 1 - Location Map), within the City of Tamarac. The work shall include, but not limited to furnishing all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, manufactured articles, furnishing of all transportation and services, including fuel, power, water and essential communications for the performance of all labor, work or other operations required to install new 8", C900 PVC watermain piping, fittings and accessories, service line laterals, removal of existing 6" DIP piping, milling and resurfacing, full pavement restoration, key cuts tie-ins with existing asphalt and driveway connections, tack coat application, guardrail removal and reinstallation, concrete sidewalk restoration at service connections, site restoration and all other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in accordance with the Contract Documents. The proposed work will establish a looped distribution system for the Pinehurst Circle community, ensuring consistent water flow and stable water pressure across the network, while enhancing pressure for fire hydrants to support emergency services.T he Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to complete the project, as indicated in the Special Conditions, Special Provisions, Project Design Plans, Technical Specifications and Documents attached herein in accordance with all applicable, federal, state, county, and local regulatory requirements. Sealed Bids must be received electronically via the City's encrypted procurement management system, bids&tenders TM on or before the date and time referenced above. Any Bids received after the time on said date will not be accepted under any circumstances. Any uncertainty regarding the time a Bid is received will be resolved against the Bidder. Local Tamarac Vendors, Broward County Certified Business Entities, Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, Veteran-Owned and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to thissolicitation. City reserves the right to reject any or all Bidder, to waive any informalities or irregularities in any Bids received, to re-advertise for Bids, to award in whole or in part to one or more Bidders, or take any other such actions that may be deemed to be in the best interests of the City.
