The City of Henderson, Nevada, is soliciting responses from qualified companies to install a new 11,658 SF reinforced concrete slabs and associated electrical work at the Eldorado Valley Training Facility, located at 15101 Black Hills Dr, Boulder City, Nevada. This Work will be the foundation of approximately twenty (20) new 361 SF pre-engineered units connected together in multiple configurations, creating training opportunities for multiple local and federal law enforcement jurisdictions. SCHEDULE: Upon execution of the Contract the City will issue the Contractor a formal Notice to Proceed and/or a Purchase Order, and all Work shall be complete, cured and ready for installation of the new modular units by February 1, 2025. Contractor will be required to submit a schedule within ten (10) days of Contract execution for approval. Coordination with the City staff should commence immediately following the notice of award. AWARD The City will award to the Bidder who submits the Bid deemed to be most advantageous to the City. This may include, but not limited to, price, conformity to specifications, financial ability to meet the Contract, previous performance, facilities and equipment, experience, overall schedule, delivery promise, other costs, other objectives and accountable factors which are reasonable. BACKGROUND CHECKS Contractors will be required to submit for approval, at their cost of approximately $10 each, criminal background check forms for all workers scheduled to perform construction activities within or around the facility. Approved workers will be required to obtain a temporary identification badge from the Henderson Police Department and display the badge in plain view at all times while in the facility. At its discretion, the Henderson Police Department may deny an applicant access to the buildings for, but not limited to, the following reasons: A felony or gross misdemeanor conviction; A felony or gross misdemeanor arrest within ten years regardless of case disposition; An arrest in which a crime was against an officer, regardless of case disposition or degree; A misdemeanor arrest for theft related offenses within the last five years, regardless of case disposition; Any concerning or questionable information found during the background check.
