Question Cut Off Date: 2/13/2025 03:00 PM (ET) This work shall include furnishing all labor, material, and equipment to complete the project BUCHANAN-ELM INTERSECTION ADA UPGRADES as described in the specifications and shown in the plans. Work includes complete street improvements at the intersection of Buchanan Boulevard and Elm Street such as curb extensions, accessible sidewalk ramps, bicycle ramps, concrete cross gutters, and new asphalt. This work shall also include the relocation of existing pedestrian activated RRFB's and the installation of new traffic signs, crosswalks, and pavement/curb markings. COMPLETION OF WORK: All work including deficiency list items must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed by the Owner. The Contractor shall provide a one-year warranty for the scope of work performed in this contract. The one-year warranty shall be from the date of the Notice of Completion. Workman's Compensation Insurance, Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price, a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price, and a Guarantee Bond will be executed as part of the contract agreement. Award of a contract, if it be awarded, will be based primarily on the lowest overall cost to the Owner, and will be made to a responsible bidder whose proposal complies with all the requirements prescribed. Any such award will be made within forty-five (45) calendar days after opening of the proposals, unless a longer waiting period before award is expressly allowed in the Notice Inviting Bids. Unless otherwise indicated, a single award will not be made for less than all the bid items in an individual bidding schedule. In the event there is more than one bidding schedule, the Owner may award schedules individually or in combination. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the Owner.
