The Washington County Natural Resources Department is seeking sealed bids to replace 6 electric water heaters and 4 propane gas furnaces in various County Parks under a grant received from the Department of Energy's, Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG). The Natural Resources Department is seeking qualified contractors to replace 6 electric water heaters and 4 propane gas furnaces in various County Parks, located in Washington County. Bids shall be prepared in accordance with contract documents prepared for this project by the Washington County Natural Resources Department. Bids from prime contractors will only be considered and if award is made for this project, it will be to a single prime contractor. This project must be completed to the County's satisfaction by April 30, 2025. This project is being funded by the Department of Energy's Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG). Successful contractor awarded the project will be required to comply with all applicable grant requirements and follow specific procedures and filing formats that are a part of this process. Federal Prevailing Wage Rates per the Davis-Bacon Act do apply to this project as set forth in the bid documents.
