Wayne County Commissioners will accept bids for the modernization of one elevator and installation of a new elevator under a single unified general construction contract which includes all aspects of the work according to Drawings and Specifications prepared by LWC Incorporated. As of October 20, 2025, this project received no bids and has been placed on hold. There are plans to rebid this project in a year. The architect has been identified. A firm construction timeline has not been established.
