Reference Number 0000369176 Job Location: 27897 Meadow Dr Evergreen, Colorado United States 80439 Question Deadline 01/08/2025 at 1:00 PM MT Evergreen Metropolitan District (Owner, District, EMD) is soliciting Proposals for the Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Biosolids Project (Project) for selection of a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) firm. A. The Work will include all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools and materials for the construction of the EMD WWTF biosolids handling improvements. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following components: 1. Installation of mechanical dewatering equipment and a polymer feed system in the upper level of the existing chemical building. 2. Construction of a new two-story building south of the existing chemical building to house a solids dumpster in the upper level with a two-compartment tank composing the lower level for sludge and pressate storage from the dewatering operation. Installation of a sludge mixer and sludge pump in one compartment and a pressate pump in the other compartment. 3. Installation of a cake pump on the dewatering press in the chemical building and associated conveyance to the new solids building. 4. Associated site work for the new building construction including, but not limited to, the following: a. Demolition and rerouting of sanitary sewer piping and gas lines, demolition of concrete and asphalt, removing and replacing fencing, tree removal, construction of a retaining wall, regrading, erosion control and seeding, and paving. 5. Dewatering site piping and associated above grade, outdoor process piping 6. Installation of dissolved oxygen probes in the existing digester basins. 7. HVAC installation in the new solids building. 8. Installation of all electrical wiring and instrumentation. B. The 30 percent CMAR Proposal Set drawings for the EMD WWTF Biosolids Project are attached as ATTACHMENT A. The 60 percent design set will be available in January when the Contractor is selected. C. Revisions to the 60 percent design set drawings will be developed during the 90 percent and final design phases of the CMAR contract to refine the design, incorporate constructability modifications, and include value engineered items to arrive at a final GMP and Construction Documents. D. For the Proposal, the CMAR firm shall complete the proposal form attached as ATTACHMENT B and list the proposed major subcontractors and suppliers attached as ATTACHMENT C of this RFP. More than one subcontractor may be listed. Owner reserves the right to reject or accept subcontractors. E. The Engineer has requested budgetary pricing from various manufacturers to supply major process equipment items including the mechanical press, the polymer feed system and the pressed solids conveyance system. The Owner and Engineer intend to share this information with the CMAR during the preparation of the final construction documents and GMP.
