Deadline for Questions from Proposers November 26, 2024 The contract includes the removal and replacement of two (2) existing rotating biological contactor assemblies, drives, equipment and all associated site, general construction, demolition, mechanical, piping, and electrical work required for complete and fully functional rotating biological contactors at the Ajax Terrace Water Pollution Control Plant. A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Monday, December 2, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at the Ajax Terrace Water Pollution Control Plant located at 1 Ajax Terrace, Succasunna, NJ 07876. Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. The Township will not be held responsible for contract documents purchased via courier service. Proposals shall be made on the forms provided and made part of the Contract Documents, which shall be submitted intact. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the Township of Roxbury, or a duly executed Bid Bond, in the amount of 10 percent of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by the Bidder together with a Surety Consent evidencing that he can obtain the required Performance Bond. The successful Bidder shall be required to deliver to the Township an executed Performance Bond of a responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. The Township of Roxbury reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the proposal received and to accept the proposal which is in the best interest of the Township.
