For: Cleaning Services for the Police Department All to be in accordance with the form of Proposal, Contract, Plans and Specifications and Instructions to Bidders on file at the City Purchasing Agent in the Municipal Building, 630 Avenue "C", Bayonne, New Jersey. All proposals, signed by the bidder, must be submitted on approved forms in sealed envelopes, plainly endorsed: PROPOSAL FOR: CLEANING SERVICES FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT With the name and address of the bidder. A Certified or Cashier's Check to the order of the City of Bayonne, for FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00) or a bid bond for a like sum, executed by a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey, binding the bidder to execute the contract, if awarded to him, or them, must accompany each Proposal. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to increase or decrease the quantities of materials. Bidders may not withdraw their respective bids for a period of sixty (60) days of receipt of bids as provided in Chapter 53 of the Public Laws of 1977. Bidders are required to comply with the current requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127 (Affirmative Action) N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27; P.L. 1977, c.33 ( Disclosure of Ownership) and P.L. 1999. c39, as amended by P.L. 2004, c.57,( NJ Business Registration ), and, if applicable, the Public Works Contractor Registration (NJSA 34:11-56.48). BIDS MUST BE PRESENTED BY THE BIDDER OR AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE AT THE ABOVE-STATED TIME. BIDS SENT BY MAIL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
