Site work for a civil project in Melita, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Municipality of Two Borders (Municipality) is seeking a Contractor to replace the Dunning Crossing located in the SW 1/4 of 27-1-27 WPM on Road 159W between Road 4N and 5N over the Antler River. The Work includes the demolition of the existing culvert crossing and the construction of a new bridge. The Scope of Work generally consists of, but is not limited to: Obtaining required regulatory permitting for the Work; Demolition of existing culvert crossing; Excavate and clean stream bed below proposed bridge structure, upstream and downstream; Construction of a 26 ft wide, 70 ft long CL-625 rated single span bridge; Construct raised approach roadway profile; Construction of rip-rap erosion protection; and Construction of gravel roadway surface. All items listed above are to be completed by the Contractor for the fixed price as specified in Schedule A. Quantities shown on the drawings are estimated and for reference only. Contractors shall do their own due diligence to confirm quantities for the fixed price proposal. The Municipality of Two Borders will not be responsible for overage in estimated quantities for this fixed price proposal.
