Renovation of a museum in Jefferson City, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
The proposed work will include the furnishing of all material, labor and equipment to: Repair and restore masonry, wood eaves, repair wood windows and repair copper gutters at 109-111 Madison Street, JeffersonCity, MO. Bid Option 1: The Entire Project o Repoint mortar joins (matching existing mortar in strength, composition, color, texture, width and profile). o Remove deteriorated mortar using combination of hand chiseling and power tools (power tools to be used only by skilled masons) o Repair deteriorated wood eaves (match existing) o Paint wood eaves (match existing). o Repair 15 wood windows o Paint repaired windows (match existing) o Repair copper gutters Bid Option 2: Masonry o Repoint mortar joins (match existing mortar in strength, composition,color, texture, width, and profile). o Remove deteriorated mortar using combination of hand chiseling and power tools (power tools to be used only by skilled masons). Bid Option 3: Wood Eaves o Repair deteriorated wood eaves (match existing) o Paint wood eaves (match existing) Bid Option 4: Windows o Repair 15 wood windows o Paint repaired windows (match existing Bid Option 5: Gutters o Repair copper gutters Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond mad payable to the Cole County Historical Society for five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Bid securitieswill be returned after award of the contract except to the successful bidder. The contact will require compliance with the wage and labor requirements and the payment of minimum wages in accordance with the Schedule of Wage Rates established by the Missouri Division of Labor Standards. Contractors and subcontractors with a contract of over $75,000 must complete certified payroll reports. The project will be partially funded with federal funds and compliance with all Federal, State and local laws, rules and regulation sis required.
