Roofing Renovation Project for Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8852 The successful bidder will be allowed ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issuance of Notice to Proceed to complete the project. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $500.00 per day for each calendar day the work is not substantially complete. All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or a Bid Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and a Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana, each in an amount equal to100% of the contract amount. McElroy AIA, NCARB 601-981-1227 - P 601-983-4444 - F Attn: Nicholas Jackson - Senior Urban Planner The VFW Post 8852 reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities, also to withhold the acceptance of any bid if approved, for forty-five calendar days from the date bids are opened. The last dayfor RFI's (Requestsfor Information) is December 11, 2024.
