Design and fabrication of main detector stand for the Moller project at TJNAF. Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (TJNAF) is looking to procure the design, fabrication, inspection, and delivery of a detector stand in support of the Moller program per the technical document package located in this RFQ package. To be considered for award you must submit an offer and the requested information in this Request for Quotation (RFQ) package demonstrating your capability and your understanding of TJNAF's requirements. This RFQ will be a full and open competition for small US businesses only with a Best Value/Trade-Off supplier selection process. It is TJNAF's intent to make the award by no later than December 20th, 2024. The award will be based on TJNAF's determination of the best overall Best Value/Trade-Off proposed design with the option for the fabrication of the detector stand to be executed about thirty days after the purchase order award. The result of this solicitation will be a firm fixed price subcontract. Questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted in writing to me not later than 5:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time) on November 22nd, 2024.
