The Engineer's estimate anticipates that the total bid price will be $330,000 and the Contract Time for the completion of all the Work of the Project is 75 working days. The proposed Work is generally described as follows: Relocate and install an existing 100-kW natural gas generator on a new concrete pad Relocate and install an existing automatic transfer switch (ATS) outside an existing utility room Install new electrical wiring and conduit between the generator, ATS and building supply Install new exhaust ventilation between the generator and existing building roof line Install new gas piping between the generator and existing Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier's check, or bid bond, in the amount of 10% of the total bid price, payable to the City of Santa Cruz, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening.
