RFP Questions and Clarification Due Date:December 23, 2024, 2:00pm The City has established a goal of 15% DBE participation for this consultant contract and that State Prevailing Wages must be paid on this project The project objective is to complete a biddable set of plans of the 800 West Cliff Road Realignment Design and complete the purchase of Lighthouse Field State Beach from California State Parks. The City of Santa Cruz aims to reroute a section of road and pedestrian path inland in order to provide a buffer for the road to account for the anticipated natural erosion of the area based on 50- and 100-year models. The City anticipates the design to the replacement of all existing storm drain outlets in the project area. The City also anticipates the Consultant to manage the procurement of the right-of-way required from Lighthouse Field State Beach park. California State Parks is aware and on-board for this land acquisition.
