Olds College of Agriculture and Technology ("College") invites proponents (each a "Proponent") to submit a proposal (each a "Proposal") to provide construction management services for the facility enhancement of the college's Trades Building located at 4902 44 Ave, Olds, Alberta. Olds College located in Olds, Alberta, approximately 75 kilometers north of the City of Calgary and 55 kilometers south of Red Deer. It is a growing postsecondary educational institution (PSI) and trains students for specific jobs in various skilled trade careers, as one of its key program disciplines. The existing facilities are outdated, and additional capacity and upgrades are needed to meet enrolment needs and the growing programming. The scope of work can be summarized as follows: Site work (deep services, concrete, asphalt, and landscaping) Demolition of east, west, and south wings and labs as required West Wing interior/exterior of existing building - includes 4 new SP labs, 4 updated classrooms, HET labs, and new mechanical room) - interior demolition, relocation of existing equipment, interior fit-out/renovations, material/equipment procurement, reinstallation of equipment as required. New envelope and mechanical system. East Wing interior of existing building - Demolition of entire wing including HET lab and SP labs/washrooms and common space. Construction will include new large HET lab, ITC wing and connection to South wing.
