The Town of Olds is seeking a qualified consulting firm to assist with updating its Municipal Development Plan (MDP) and Land Use Bylaw (LUB). The MDP and LUB are critical tools for guiding growth, development, and land use within the Town. The updates are intended to reflect current trends, incorporate best practices, and align with the Town's strategic vision and priorities. Objectives 1. Review and Assessment: Conduct a comprehensive review of the existing MDP and LUB to identify areas that require updates or improvements. 2. Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate inclusive and transparent stakeholder engagement processes to gather input from residents, business owners, developers, and other key stakeholders. 3. Alignment with Strategic Plans: Ensure the updated MDP and LUB align with the Town of Olds' strategic plans, including sustainability goals, economic development strategies, and community priorities. 4. Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with provincial legislation and incorporate best practices in urban planning, land use management, and environmental sustainability. 5.
