Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Olds, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
This project will involve the replacement of the existing 8.5m long HC Girder bridge on a treated timber substructure located at roadway station 1+000.000 with a new (2) 2400 mm diameter x 25 m long corrugated steel pipe (CSP) at roadway station 0+999.60 on a 0-degree skew at Bridge File 1874 carrying a local road (Township Road 31-5) over a Tributary to Lonepine Creek near Olds (NE 30-31-27 W4M). The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: - Mobilization - Site Occupancy - Traffic Accommodation - Care of Water - Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Testing - Removal and Disposal of Existing Bridge Structure - Structural Excavation - Supply and Installation of new (2) 2400 mm diameter x 25.0 m long CSP's - Granular Backfill - Non-Granular Backfill - Supply and Installation of Class 1 Heavy Rock Rip Rap - Roadway Work - Other Work
