Montville Public Schools, Connecticut, is accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors (hereafter referred to as vendor, firm, or bidder) for the demolition and installation of a grease separator at Leonard J. Tyl Middle School, 166 Chesterfield Road, Oakdale, CT 06370. o Demolition and Disposal: Remove and properly dispose ofthe existing grease separator tank located in the Tyl middle School boiler room. o New Equipment Installation: Provide and install a new 36x60 prepackaged duplex basin with top discharge, including: o Repurpose the existing (2) two sump pumps with the new basin and all required associated work. o Discharge piping with check and isolation valves outside the tank for future maintenance. o Re-piping of the existing discharge line to connect with the new tank. o Proper connection of the new tank to the existing vent line. o Preparation: Prep the installation area for the new equipment. o Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test the new installation to ensure proper functionality. Schedule all work with the Director of Facilities, Willie Quinones, Jr., at 860-964-9810, in advance. All work must occur Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, unless alternative hours are approved by the Director of Facilities. Work must be performed and completed between Monday, December 23, 2024, and Friday, December 27, 2024. After opening ofthe Bids, no Bid can be withdrawn for a period ofsixty (60) days. Montville Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor irregularities, and select other than the lowest bid if deemed in the district's best interest. The judgment of Montville Public Schools in such matters shall be final.
