General Asphalt removal and repair services of Districts asphalt patch list throughout various locations in the City of Encinitas with the potential of concrete work but is not limited to that which will also include work that may arise from time to time over the fiscal year (July 1 to June 30) with the potential of concrete work but is not limited to that. The work shall be performed on an as-needed basis for the removal and replacement of asphalt and asphalt cold patches in the Public right-of-way areas. Contractor shall bid on unit prices for (Part 1) "as-needed" work and (Part 2) various locations within the District in need of Asphalt repair to be Bid for completion as part of this proposal (ATTACHEMENT A). (Part 1) Unit prices shall include all labor, equipment, and material costs necessary to accomplish the intended work, including, but not limited to, clearing and grubbing, demolition, preparation of sub-grade, placement, and Traffic Control. It is estimated 50-100 sites per fiscal year may be deemed as "As-needed" repair to be completed by the contractor annually. (Part 2) Work shall be based upon the particular bid item of work and no additional compensation will be made. Fiscal year work that may be ordered is an estimate only and the actual items of "As-needed" work may vary from the estimate and year to year.
