The Work under this Project consists of the creating a one-stop shop Housing Resource Center that offers a variety of services for up to 54 single displaced individuals experiencing homelessness; and includes the following supporting programming: Short Term Housing Units, Day Services, Learning Center, Dining Service. The facility shall also include Intake and Facility Operations office areas as well as area for security personnel. Project comprises a 4-story facility with the fourth floor being an unoccupied warm lit shell. Total facility area of all four floors: 31,155 GSF. The building shall be constructed of metal studs and steel framed structure, concrete slab floors and low-sloped roof system. The exterior consists of brick veneer, metal wall panels and storefront and curtain wall glazing systems. Building Program: Short-Term Singles Housing: 50 sleeping units, serving both Male and Female occupants 4 ADA Accessible sleeping units Day Services: Reception / Waiting, Day Use Gathering, Laundry, Mail, Toilet / Showers, Day Services Ops Office, Program Support space Learning Center: Instructional Space, Breakout Rooms, Program Support space Dining Services: Dining area / FS Support Space, Full-Service Kitchen Health Center: Comprehensive primary care health services for guests such as exams, immunizations, and management of chronic conditions. Health education, nutrition counseling, medication assistance, and laboratory services shall also be offered on site.
