The Summers County Commission is in the process of obtaining qualifications from architectural and/or engineering firms interested in providing advice and services for the purposes of repairing and, when necessary, replacing the existing windows and storm windows at the Summers County Courthouse. Approximately 65-67 windows with 8-10 various styles. Professional services for the activity funded include; (1) Repair and/or replace in accordance with all State, Federal and Local regulations that pertain to the proposed project; (2) Preparation of bidding and contracting documents; (3) Participation in the evaluation of bids received; (4) Monitor and inspect construction activities on a periodic basis to insure compliance with plans and specifications; (5) SHPO coordination and compliance. Procurement of said services shall be in accordance with West Virginia Code Chapter 5G. Consultants interested in being considered for this project must submit a proposal detailing qualifications, technical expertise, management and staffing capabilities and related prior experience.
