Renovation of a municipal facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This Request for Proposal process is being issued to satisfy the requirement of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) for the design assist, system implementation, technical support and maintenance services for new Building Automation Systems (BAS), including associated components, for multiple building buildings within the Parliamentary Precinct portfolio of the Science and Parliamentary Infrastructure Branch (SPIB) of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). The ultimate objective of SPIB is to shift building-to-building management towards a Parliamentary Campus Operations in line with the Long-Term Vision and Plan (LTVP) Strategic Direction to evolve to a campus approach for Modern Parliament. To help achieve this objective, SPIB is looking to standardize all Building Automation Systems and controls throughout the Parliamentary Precinct as well as other associated equipment and components to simplify technical training and troubleshooting of equipment, reduce maintenance costs, reduce spare parts inventory, and eliminate duplication of hardware and software systems while maximizing energy savings.
