Installation of approx 15,318 LF of 2-, 3-, and 4-inch PVC LP FM and all necessary appurtenances and installation of 64 LP sewer services, including pumps, and connection to customers sewer line. This Project is being supported with U.S. Department of the Treasury, American Rescue Plan, Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (SLFRF) grant funding. Therefore, certain restrictions and other Federal requirements attach to this opportunity. Envelope must also bear on the outside, the name of the Bidder, Bidder's address, and Bidder's license number with expiration date (please refer to Section 00 21 13-1.1 - Instructions to Bidders). All bids must be made on blank forms provided and included in the bound document or as provided by Addendum prior to Bid. The Project includes the following Work: 1. Installation of approximately 15,318 linear feet of 2-, 3-, and 4-inch PVC low pressure force main and all necessary appurtenances. 2. Installation of 64 low pressure sewer services, including pumps, and connection to customers sewer line. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum (stipulated) price, together with Unit Prices basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The Successful Bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bonds. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Project has an expected duration of three hundred (300) days to substantial completion. Prospective Bidders must register and purchase Bidding Documents through online in order to be considered an official plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from online in either digital or paper format. The digital portal will be updated periodically with Addenda, list of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, Addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through online. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from online. The Owner hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an Award. No Bidder may withdraw his/her Bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. In accordance with the Contract Documents, documentation that the prospective General Contractor and its Subcontractors meet minimum qualifications shall be provided and submitted. Subcontractors must also not appear online disbarment list. Mark-ups on Subcontractor work or Cost Plus Overhead will be disallowed for reimbursement. The Successful Bidder shall comply with the Department of Labor Safety and Health Regulations for construction promulgated under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (PL91-596) and under Section 107 of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (PL91-54), or latest revisions. A Pre-Bid Conference for the Project will not be held.
