2025 Maintenance Crack Seal This work shall consist of Maintenance Project to seal cracks in arterial and collector roadways in Preventative Maintenance Zone 7. The work shall be completed in its entirety on or before February 09, 2026. The completion dates are predicated on the intent of ACHD to issue a Notice to Proceed to the Contractor on or about February 07, 2025. ACHD shall be entitled to Liquidated Damages of $1,250.00 for each calendar day of delay in the completion of the work. A delay on one portion of the project does not justify delays on other portions of the project. Proposals must be accompanied by an original or photocopy or electronic version, e.g. PDF, FAX, etc. of certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond (collectively referred to hereafter as "Bid Security") issued by a surety authorized to issue such bonds in the State of Idaho, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal submitted. The apparent low-cost responsive Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bond(s) for the faithful performance of the contract and supply the necessary insurance documents as prescribed in the ITB. The right is reserved to reject all proposals or reject any proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents whenever such action appears to be in the best interest of ACHD. Award of a contract pursuant to this invitation may be delayed, without penalty, for up to sixty (60) calendar days after the date of bid. Two or more crews may be necessary in order to complete the scope of work in the time contracted. Liquidated Damages will be enforced. Expected Contract Bonding Requirement: 950,000.00
