In accordance with the plans and specifications, this work shall consist of decommission of signals, construction of two raised concrete pedestrian crossings, installing of two sets of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB), and related improvements. The work shall be completed in its entirety on or before July 11, 2025. The completion dates are predicated on the intent of ACHD to issue a Notice to Proceed to the Contractor on or about February 24, 2025. ACHD shall be entitled to Liquidated Damages of $1,000 for each calendar day of delay in the completion of the work. A delay to one portion of the project does not justify delays on other portions of the project. The project to be constructed must allow one travel lane to remain open throughout the duration of the project. All questions or clarifications must be submitted by 12:00 pm on Monday, January 20, 2025. Any interpretation that may alter or change the ITB will be in writing, in the form of Addenda, which will be furnished via the online Portal. It is the Bidder's responsibility to check for Addenda before submitting bids. Proposals must be accompanied by an original or photocopy or electronic version, e.g. PDF, FAX, etc. of certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond (collectively referred to hereafter as ''Bid Security'') issued by a surety authorized to issue such bonds in the State of Idaho, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal submitted.
